Learn an enchanting, mysterious candle-balance dance! This workshop provides a strong introduction to standard balancing techniques and creative ideas for the use of specialty-balanced props. We will begin with a warm-up aimed at strengthening the body for floor work; basic balance points; and then work on an adaptable choreography broken down into combos using a candle. Also included are safety tips, ideas for working in duos, trios, and groups, some historical background on balancing dances, a meditative cooldown, and concluding with a costumed choreography review by the instructor. Choreography includes transitions, turns, spins and floor work.
Candle Workshop includes:
*a workable choreography with notes and tips
*balancing techniques
*an LED flickering candle and holder for practice and use!!

*with a special tribal jewelry and bead showing by Pandora's Ethnic Baubles and Beads!
